The Chainco team has more than 30 years’ experience within the inspection and sale of chains and related equipment. Chainco was established in 2011 and has, since 2012, completed inspections with a chain inspection unit (CIU) for a wide range of clients within the oil and gas and offshore sectors.
We complete certifications in Norway and around the world, and have international DNV-GL certifications that are valid for movable rigs, FPSOs and other vessels.
Our current clients operate mainly in the oil and gas industry, however we also complete work for clients within seafaring and land-based industry.
Chainco is estabished
Chainco starts the company, and buys a barge with a CIU (chain inspection unit) from Stadt Sjøtransport
Chainco signs a frame agreement with Transocean
Behama Invest AS becomes the majority stakeholder. Chainco moves offices to Ølen, in the Vindafjord municipality of Norway.
Our team has completed certification assignments in Norway, England, Scotland, Canada, Netherlands, and Singapore.
With our mobile chain inspection unit, we can complete inspections, controls, and classing of all types of chains on locations across the world.
